structions. Pass these instructions and any maintenance instructions to

4 Connecting

Connect the SmartCD.HF directly to a PC or laptop via a free USB
interface.
If you are using a USB hub, this USB hub must be connected to its own
power supply (Active USB hub).
After you connect the SmartCD.HF for the first time, Windows detects a
new USB hardware. The drivers are automatically installed together
with the LSM software (from version 3.3).
