Installing FinePixViewer: Macintosh

Confirm that the computer meets the following system requirements:

Power Macintosh G3, PowerBook G3, Power Macintosh G4, iMac, iBook, Power Macintosh G4 Cube, Power-
Book G4, Power Macintosh G5, Mac Book, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, or Mac Pro
CPU
PowerPC or Intel
OS Mac OS X version 10.3.9-10.4.11 (as of January 1,2008; visit http://www.fujifi/m.com for more information)
RAM
256 MB or more
Free disk space
A minimum of 200 MB required for installation with 400 MB available when FinePixViewer is running

• Built-in USB port recommended. Operation is not guaranteed other USB ports.
• Internet connection (56 kbps or faster recommended) required to use FinePix Internet Service; Internet
connection and e-mail software required to use e-mail option
• QuickTime 7.0 or later required to view MPEG-4 movies

After starting the computer and quitting any applications that may be running, insert the installer
CD in a CD-ROM drive. Double-click the
FinePix CD
icon on the desktop and double-click
Installer
for Mac OS X.

An installer dialog will be displayed; click Installing FinePixViewer to start installation. Enter an
administrator name and password when prompted and click
OK,
then follow the on-screen instruc-
tions to install FinePixViewer. If prompted to install QuickTime, follow the on-screen instructions.
Click
Exit
to quit the installer when installation is complete.
