The theodolite is now set up and ready to install the pilot string. The target may appear to be way off
line and grade. This is common and must be fixed by penetrating the ground and steering the target to
the crosshairs on the monitor.
NOTE- DO NOT MOVE THE THEODOLITE IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE TARGET!
18. Focus the camera image on the screen with the toggle on the monitor in the lower right hand
corner. DOWN to focus in. UP to focus out.
