Please be sure to observe the following cautions during the ink filling. If you fail to follow them, filling
ink will be interrupted and you have to do it again, and in consequence, the amount of the ink
consumed may increase.

DO NOT unplug the power cord.
•
DO NOT open the tank cover.
•
DO NOT open the maintenance cover.
•
DO NOT move or lift up the printer.
[IMPORTANT]*2:
Ink may adhere to the nozzles of the removed print head. Please take extra care when handling the
print head. If ink is attached to clothes, the ink stains may not be removed.
To prevent ink leakage, please avoid removing the ink tanks if the print head is not installed in the
printer.
[IMPORTANT]*3:
Please do not open the print head bag until right before the print head installation. In addition, install
the print head right away after the print head is taken out from the bag. If you leave it open, the print
head nozzles will dry and the printing quality may be deteriorated.
Make sure to hold the handle of the print head. Please do not touch the nozzle, the electrode, and
the ink supply parts (circled in the blue). Touching any of these parts will cause printing failure.
