Enrolling

Enrolling the First Expander on the GSDi panel:

1. Connect the expander to the Panel as shown in the wiring diagram.
2. Using the keypad on the GSDi Panel start the enrol process: In the installer
menu navigate to System - Installation wizards - Enrol Expander and press OK.
3. The expander will then enrol on the panel after a few seconds. The panel will
indicate that it has enrolled with a message 'Expander enrolled' on the display.

Enrolling Additional Expanders on the GSDi panel:

1. Follow steps 1 & 2 above to connect and start the enrol process on the panel.

2. Remove the 'enrol tamper link' on the additional expander.

3. Replace the link again for 5 seconds until the Red LED turns ON. Remove the link
again immediately after the Red LED turns ON to enrol the expander.
4. The expander will then enrol on the panel after a few seconds. The panel will
indicate that it has enrolled with a message 'Expander enrolled' on the display.
5. Once enrolled replace the 'enrol tamper link' unless using the 'lid tamper'.
Note: Up to 2 expanders can be enrolled on the GSDi-1070 panel. The expanders will

use zones above zone 80.
e.g. Expander1 will use zone 81 to zone 90. Expander2 will use zone 91 to zone 100.
