After the end of a printing process
At the end of a printing process additional steps need to be carried out to
finish the object and clean the printer.
Remove and finish the object
Warning! Always remove the printing plate before the resin tray.
The correct procedure for removal and post treatment of the object is:
– Ensure that the building plate is not exposed to natural light;
– Put the manufacturing kit within proximity of the printer;
– Wear the gloves (nitrile);
– Open the printer's front door;
– Remove the building plate with the object;
– Continue with the cleaning and finishing following the instructions of the
material manufacturer or the applications protocol;
Cleaning
Once the printing operation is finished you have to clean the 3D printer so:
– Remove the material tray from the printer with the remaining resin;
– Pour the remaining resin into a bottle (if necessary, you can filter the
resin with an appropriate filter);
– Clean the resin tray with a proper solvent and a paper napkin;
– Insert the resin tray into the printer;
– Clean the building plate and place it in the printer;
