To troubleshoot error messages on the Gambro AK 98 dialysis machine:

1. Identify the Error Code: Check the displayed error message or code on the machine.
2. Refer to the Error List: Look up the specific error code in the manual for details on the issue.
3. Perform Recommended Actions:
- If the issue is related to fluid flow, temperature, or conductivity, ensure proper calibration and sensor functionality.
- If an alarm is triggered, follow the general alarm handling procedures.
- For blood leak detector failure, clean the detector and confirm the action.
- If the machine restarts due to an error, monitor if the issue recurs in subsequent functional checks.
4. Automatic Restart: Some errors trigger an automatic restart of the FM functional check. If the issue reoccurs, a technical error will be issued.
5. Check for Maintenance Needs: If calibration or preventive maintenance is required, perform the necessary procedures.
6. Escalate if Needed: If troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, further technical support may be required.

Following these steps ensures proper diagnosis and resolution of errors on the Gambro AK 98 machine.
