  • Page 23 POWER DV D Windows 98 SE Step 1: First, click on My Computer on Windows 95/98 desktop to access t h e DMA setting through the following path: My Computer / Contro l Panel / System / Device Manager / CDROM / Properties / Settings. Step 2: On the Settings tab, you can see the DMA option on the Options w i n d o w.
  • Page 24 POWER DV D CD/File Mode Toggle (O) (as shown in MPEG File Mode): While playing MPEG-2 files instead of VCD/DVD titles, this button icon will appear. Just click on the Play button to show forth the Play List (explained later) for file playback.

Next Audio Stream (H) : While you are playing DVD titles, which support multi-language selection, just click on this button to change to the next language preference in a circular order.

Meanwhile, you can see the current operation status along with chapter and time information on the status display panel. If you want to pause for a while during playback, just click the Pause button. To resume playing, simply press either the Pause button again or Play button to continue playback.

To Playback DVD Titles Step 1: To play back DVD titles, first make sure that CD Mode is currently on. If MPEG File Mode is the current mode, just click on the button to toggle to CD Mode.
  • Page 28 POWER DV D Once the region has been specified and you insert a disc with unmatched region, the dialogue box will appear again to prompt you if a change in the current region setting is desired: Choose OK if you want to change PowerDVD region setting, otherwise choose Cancel to abort region setting change and the movie will not be played.
