Filling the Water Pump
Press the button of the pressure relief valve 6 until the
manometer 5 indicates that the water pump is pressure-free.
Push the pump handle 1 down to the stop. Unscrew the pump
3 with the handle, turning in anticlockwise direction.
Engage the pump handle 1 into the cams 13 of the pump and
lift the pump 3 out.
Remove the filling sieve 2 out of the housing. Fill the water
pump with clean water via the filling sieve 2.
Observe the maximum filling capacity of the pressure con-
tainer 11. Check the water level, if required (see "Checking
the Water Level", page 7).
Remove the filling sieve 2 and reinsert it into the housing. Re-
insert the pump 3 and firmly retighten it turning in clockwise
direction.
Connecting the Water Pump
Insert the connector 8 into the hose connection 7 of the water
pump. Check the locking by pulling on the connection hose.
Shut the water cock on the diamond drill. Insert the cock
connector of the diamond drill into the hose connection 9 for
the water supply. Check the locking.
Pressurising the Water Pump
Turn the pump handle 1 so that it does not engage into the
cams 13 of the pump. Apply pumping action via the pump
handle until the manometer indicates 6 bar.
The water pump is ready for operation.
The pressure supply is sufficient for approximately one con-
tainer filling. When the water pressure is no longer sufficient
during drilling, apply further pumping action with the pump
handle 1.
Emptying the Water Pump
Empty the water pump each time after using.
Press the button of the pressure relief valve 6 until the
manometer 5 indicates that the water pump is pressure-free.
Push the pump handle 1 down to the stop. Carefully turn the
pump 3 via the pump handle in anticlockwise direction and
allow the remaining pressure to escape.
Completely unscrew the pump 3 and remove it out of the
