Cause
The main battery is being
charged.
The recharging cable is
connected to the vehicle's
socket, but the main battery is
not being charged.
The ancillaries battery charging
circuit has a fault (dirty or loose
terminals, converter fault, etc.).
The driver and/or front
passenger has not fastened or
has unfastened their seat belt.
The rear right passenger has
unfastened their seat belt.
The rear left passenger has
unfastened their seat belt.
This warning lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you turn on
the ignition, then goes off.
One of the airbag or seat
belt pyrotechnic pretensioner
systems has a fault.

Action/Observations
The lamp goes out once charging is complete.
Check the recharging cable connection.
The warning lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the buckle.
