INSTALLATION This unit is intended to be installed in a ceiling. The joists where the fan is to be installed must be a minimum of 2” x 4” material to ensure adequate support. The joists should be spaced 16” on center or up to a maximum of 24” on center. This product is designed for installation in ceilings with a minimum of 9”... - Page 7 INSTALLATION CONTINUED Secure Fan Housing and Suspension Brackets to Ceiling Joists 1. Remove the wire box cover to allow for easier wire connections when unit is secured to joists. The wire box cover plate has two (2) screws that secure it to the wire box. Removing the one (1) screw located closest to the middle of the unit will allow the cover plate to pivot open to allow access to the wires.
- Page 8 3. Drive the self-tapping screws with a Phillips Head screwdriver or drill with a Phillips Head drill bit attachment to secure fan unit to joists. There are two (2) screw holes located at the end of each suspension bracket as well as on the wire box bracket that are to be used to secure the fan unit to the ceiling joists.
- Page 9 Connect Power Supply to Fan Unit Wiring Make all the electrical connections in the wire box, per the wiring diagram, using UL approved wire nuts (not included) and re-attach the wire box cover. Refer to the wiring diagram located at the end of this manual for additional wiring information.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Periodic maintenance should be performed to ensure proper performance and long product life. Routine maintenance should be performed yearly, however more frequent maintenance may be required depending on the environment in which the unit has been installed. WARNING! Disconnect from power source before performing maintenance. -
