INSTALLATION
INSTALLING IGNITOR BATTERY
NOTE: Battery is included.
1.
Unscrew ignitor cap and insert included battery negative (flat) side down (see Fig. 4).
2.
Replace ignitor cap.
3.
Be sure to observe proper polarity (+/-) when installing or replacing the battery.
Damage due to improper battery Installation may void the warranty on the product.
4.
Install/replace the battery according to the type and quantity stated in table below.
5.
Remove battery when depleted.
6.
For long periods of non-operation, remove the battery from all components for safety.
WARNING:
Do not use rechargeable silver oxide cell batteries
DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire. Improper disposal may cause
batteries to leak or explode.
PREINSTALLED FAN (OPTIONAL)
WARNING: This appliance is equipped with a three-prong
grounding plug for your protection against shock hazards and
should be plugged directly into a properly grounded three-prong
receptacle.
NOTE: If any of the original wire as supplied with the appliance
must be replaced, it must be replaced with a wire of at least an
equal temperature rating.
Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls.
Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
