    Vorwort Sehr geehrte Leserin, sehr geehrter Leser, diese Betriebsanleitung macht Sie mit dem sicherheitsgerechten Betrieb des Produktes vertraut. Unser Produkt ist nach dem aktuellen Stand der Technik und den anerkannten sicherheitstechnischen Regeln konstruiert und gebaut worden. Dennoch können Gefahren für Personen oder Sachen entstehen, da sich nicht alle Gefahrenstellen vermeiden lassen, wenn die Funktionsfähigkeit erhalten bleiben soll.

Nicht lesbare oder fehlende Sicherheitsaufkleber oder Typenschilder führen zum Verlust der Zulassung des Strahlers.  Der explosionsgeschützte Strahler darf nicht im fehlerhaften Zustand betrieben werden, da hierdurch erhebliche Verletzungsgefahren entstehen können.

    Sicherheitsaufkleber Zusätzlich zu den Sicherheitshinweisen in dieser Betriebsanleitung sind zur Warnung vor bestimmten Gefahren auf dem Produkt Aufkleber angebracht. In folgenden Tabellen wird die Bedeutung dieser Sicherheitsaufkleber beschrieben. WARNUNG – OHNE SICHERHEITSAUFKLEBER ERLISCHT ZULASSUNG ! Das Entfernen der Sicherheitsaufkleber ist verboten. Sicherheitsaufkleber, die sich lösen oder die bereits verloren gegangen sind oder nicht lesbar sind, müssen erneuert werden.

    Des weiteren erfüllt dieses explosionsgeschützte Betriebsmittel folgende für gasexplosionsgefährdete Bereiche geltende Normen:  EN 60079-0:2018 (IEC 60079-0:2017)  EN 60079-1:2015-04 (IEC 60079-1:2014)  EN 60079-7:2016-08 (IEC 60079-7:2015)  EN 60079-28:2015 (IEC 60079-28:2015) Dieses Kapitel hat das Ziel, den Aufbau und die Funktion des explosions- geschützten Strahlers zu veranschaulichen.

    Der Strahler, insbesondere Kühlkörper und Lampenabdeckungen der Module, müssen stets in sauberem Zustand sein. Entsprechend der geltenden Normen muss das Überschreiten der maximal zulässigen Oberflächentemperatur im Fehlerfall mittels nicht-rückstellbarer Sicherung verhindert werden.     Zulässige Anbaulagen Die Installation des Strahlers ist grundsätzlich nur an Orten zulässig, an denen der Einfluss von zusätzlichen Wärme- oder Kältequellen auszuschließen ist. Die Montage ist ausschließlich in solchen Lagen zulässig, in denen die einzelnen Module wie in Abbildung 1 dargestellt ausgerichtet sind.     Kabelverschraubungen Einführung Installationsleitungen jeder Strahler zwei Kabelverschraubungen ausgestattet. Der zulässige Leitungsdurchmesser ist den Herstellerangaben zu entnehmen.     Permissible installation positions As a rule, the installation of the floodlight is only permissible in locations where the effects of additional heat or cold sources can be excluded. The assembly is only permissible in those positions in which the individual modules are aligned as shown in Figure 1.

    Threaded cable glands Every floodlight is equipped with two threaded cable glands to introduce the installation lines. The permissable line diameter has to be conform to the specification of the manufacturer. The operation instructions of the line and cable gland is included in delivery of the floodlight. Each of these threaded cable glands is closed with a blind plug at the factory.

    External potential conductor A connection option for a potential equalization conductor via a screw terminal connection is provided for conducting away an electrical potential difference between the floodlight and supporting element (mount, wall or similar).
