Troubleshooting

➤ Ensure the vehicle's battery terminals are clean and free from corrosion.
➤ Connect the red clamp to the + terminal on the vehicle's battery.
➤ Connect the black clamp to the - terminal on the vehicle's battery.
✓ The blue LED on the intelligent battery clamp (fig. 7 2, page 15) indicates that the jump starter
is ready to start the vehicle.

NOTE
A flashing red LED on the intelligent battery clamp indicates that a safety function is
active. Also the buzzer may sound.
For more information refer to chapter "Protective functions" on page 17.
After a flashing red LED, disconnect and reconnect the plug (fig. 7 3, page 15) before
using the device again.
➤ Start the vehicle.
➤ Once the vehicle is started, disconnect the clamps (fig. 7 4) from the vehicle's battery as soon
as possible.
Disconnect the black clamp from the - terminal on the vehicle's battery first.
Disconnect the red clamp from the + terminal on the vehicle's battery last.

Troubleshooting
Problem
The power capacity of the
device is shown at 100%, but
did not fully charge in charg-
ing process.
Nothing happens when
switching the device on, dis-
play stays dark.
Red LED on the intelligent bat-
tery clamp at the intelligent
battery clamp is flashing.

Cause
This situation can occur when
the device is in a semi-state of
charge, which is conducive to
long-term storage when the
device is not in use for long
time.
The device is defective.
Low voltage protection of the
device is active and the
device can not be turned on.
The display is defective.
A flashing red LED on the
intelligent battery clamp indi-
cates that a safety function is
active.
Remedy
Pull out the charge plug, then
reinsert.
Contact a service centre.
Insert the charger plug into
the 9V/2A input port to acti-
vate.
Contact a service centre.

tive functions" on page 17.
