MS3C-300TSB Aluminum Alloy Emergency
Chair
IMPORTANT: Prior to deploying stair evacuation chair in an actual
emergency, make sure to familiarize your team with unit and to test it
without a passenger. Make certain to always follow applicable safety
protocols.

Deploying Chair:

1. To unfold chair, release seatbelt, grasp backrest with one hand and
grasp seat with or hand. Slowly guide chair into a full open position.
2.
chair will automatically lock when chair reaches its full open position.
You may now roll chair.

Preparing for Passenger Loading:

1. Roll evacuation chair next to patient, once chair is in position, LOCK
rear wheels.
2. To lock rear wheels, push down red lever located on top of rear
wheels.
3. Make sure locks are engaged by trying to move chair.
4. If chair does not move, you are ready to seat and secure your
passenger.

Loading your Passenger:

1. Assist your passenger into seat using side handlebars for
support and balance if necessary.
2. Place passenger's feet on foot rest
3. Secure your passenger with horizontal lap belt.

Patient Transport Descending Stairs:

NOTE: 300TSB is designed to be deployed by a single operator.
However, when available, a second operator should assist with
operation of power evacuation chair.
1. TOP operator will position evacuation chair to top of staircase.
2. Turn on battery pack located underneath seat. Make sure to
turn key 2 full clicks.
3. TOP operator will LOCK rear casters.

Extended track as required and lock. Make sure track is in locked position by trying to slide track in or out. If it does not move, track is locked.

TOP operator will apply pressure slightly down while SUPPORT operator (when available) applies pressure slightly up. This will keep tracks engaged with stairs 5. Operator(s) will push “UP” button on control panel and guide chair up one stair at a time.
