Braking System

The Model H/X is equipped with electromagnetic regenerative brakes. This means that the
Model H/X will stop when the joystick is back at the default position (center/stop position).
WARNING​ : Before standing up or sitting down from the Model H/ X chair you must manually
engage both breaks. The breaks can be found above and to the side of the rear tires (See
image below) Not engaging the breaks may cause the Model H/X roll from under you.
Model X:
The breaks are automatically ON when the
lever is in the forward position if you want to
put it into manual mode push the lever
towards the back of the chair.
Model H
The hand breaks can be found to the side of
the rear ties (at the 3 o'clock mark)
