7 - Preparation for use

Before using the machine it is necessary to perform the following controls with the
tractor and the key off:
- Check the bolts tightening and that all the elements are in perfect conditions.
- Check that the security signs are present and legible.

8 - Working depth adjustment

The working depth is adjusted by the screw crank register roller (Fig.12 - Ref.A). The roller must be
adjusted so that during the working the machine sides are leaned or inserted on the soil ( the inferior
side of the chain guard (Fig. 12-Ref. B) touches the soil.
In order to avoid dangerous situations, it is necessary that during the milling the sides
touch the soil.
9 – Levelling adjustment.
The levelling is made with the back shovel (Fig.12 - Ref.C); the scraper is adjusted manually with the
two special screws and depends on the working depth chosen (Fig.12 - Ref.D). For a good levelling
result, be sure that while working there is always earth in front of the scraper.
Adjust the scaper always with the tractor off and the key off. Wear protective
gloves to prevent injury to the hands skin.
