  • Page 2 INTRODUCTION Overview The Extended Battery Module (EBM) is designed for various CyberPower UPS systems and can be used in either rack or tower installation. The heavy gauge power cord has a plug-n-play DC connector for easy installation. When combining with UPS, the EBM provides extended runtime with a 48V DC external connection.

AC Outlet: This outlet connects to the AC inlet of additional Extended Battery Modules. INSTALLATION Rack-mounting Installation for 4-post Rack Release the two (2) screws from the unit.

Mounting two stabilizer brackets (supplied with UPS) to outside of UPS and Extended Battery Module(s). Step 3. Affix the rubber feet to the bottom of the Extended Battery Module.

Ensure the color coded connector plug lines up correctly with the colors in the UPS socket, such as red to red, black to black and green to green.
