FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

VA121: Remove the buckle and clasp from the strap first and then loosen enough
screws from the back panel of the wheelchair (enough to allow the strap to be
passed between the back of the chair and the frame). Pass the free end of the strap
around the back of the chair and thread through the metal slide ring, make sure to
pull the strap tight. Make sure to tighten all loosenedscrews and replace the buckle
and clasp on the strap. (See Fig. 2)
VA121S: Form a loop through the buckle at one end of the strap (see Fig. 3), pass
this over the arm of the wheelchair and pull the loop tight (Fig. 4). Pass the strap
around the back of the wheelchair and make another loop at the other side, again
passing this over the arm.

CLEANING

Clean your Scooter or Wheelchair Lap Strap using a mild detergent with a slightly
damp, soft cloth only. Only use a mild detergent or disinfectant; never use an
abrasive cleaner.
After cleaning, leave the strap somewhere warm and dry to air. Do not leave in
direct contact with a heat source.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any
concerns.

REISSUE

If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all
components for their safety.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your
supplier for service support.
