Raise presser foot.

Replace needle plate under clamping pin A,

to the left and press down

Close slide
plate.
Changing lhe Needle
•
Raise needle to its
highest
pasition by
turning the hand wheel toward vou. Loosen
the
needle-clamp
screw D and remove the
needle.
•
Insert new needle with the flat side of the
needle to the back, up into clamp E as far as
it will go
.
•
Tighten needle-clamp
screw.
