BO.sensor integrates Bang & Olufsen infrared remote controls with KNX systems and allows controlling KNX lights, screens and scenes with the Beo 4 and Beo 6 remotes. The BO.sensor also supports the BeoRemote One if configured to support Beo4 products.
Presets are used to determine which audio content will be played from the Asano music server. A preset can be a predefined playlist, an internet radio station or a music genre. The BO.sensor supports up to 18 presets (number 0-9; colored buttons short & long press) to be linked with the presets defined in a MMS-link.
(B) of the BO.sensor are screwed in the Beolink connector (D) on the infrared sensor. The BO.sensor includes an IR output (C) that connects to Bang & Olufsen device with an IR input socket. This output allows you to send IR commands, either send by the remote or from KNX by using a 14 byte command object (object 182: BO command in).
BO.sensor Manual 1.5 Beo commands The Beo remote control generates IR commands that are received by the BO.sensor. The BO.sensor will translate each Beo command into a KNX command. Using the BO.sensor Beolink output, you can control B&O devices from KNX using a 14-byte object.
When enabling audio or video function, 1-byte control objects are used for transmitting KNX commands. These objects are TV control, DVD control, RADIO control, CD control,… depending on the sources enabled in ETS. Combined with a Basalte B.link, other A/V devices can be controlled by the Beo 4 or Beo 6 remote control.
The PRESET object can be used to select a preset from the MMS.link. A preset can be a predefined playlist, an Internet radio station or a music genre. The BO.sensor supports up to 18 presets (number 0-9; colored buttons short & long press) to be linked with the presets defined in a MMS- link.
BO.sensor Manual 2. Configuration of parameters This section describes the configuration of the BO.sensor in ETS and the corresponding KNX objects. 2.1 General Parameter Description Use ALL STANDBY object This parameter defines if you want to use the ALL standby object.
