Covers & Positioning
To fit or remove the washable towelling sheet, simply pull on or off
To bend Ziggy, always ensure that the side with the zip is either facing the floor or the ceiling. Ziggy can be bent
into many differant shapes, as shown above
Why? Benefits of the Adjustment:
Ziggy can be moulded into many shapes and can be used for a number of therapeutic purposes. Ziggy can be moulded into a full "u"
shape and used as an instant corner seat or as a "wedge" where children lie prone with their upper body supported on Ziggy with their
arms over the front of the "u". This is a comfortable, secure position and the arms of the "u" prevent excessive abduction or external
rotation, this helps to keep the child in a symmetrical position. Ziggy can also be used with Dreama to create a contour for a child
in side lying. This gives the child comfortable, secure support in a beneficial position. Ziggy can be used for sitting and sit to stand
practise for very young children and also as a support for crawling. Here the child is positioned astride Ziggy and can crawl along
the length of Ziggy offering support and symmetry. A small Ziggy can be used to offer extra extension to children in prone standing.
Ziggy is passed under their arms to increase their extension. This helps to improve and support shoulder protraction and to increase
extension of the back and often aids head control.
