To unlock a channel:
1. From the LOCKS menu, select CH LOCK.
2. Press x or • to display the CH LOCK menu. CH INPUT will
be highlighted.
3. Press yzx • to highlight the channel to be unlocked.

4. Press ENTER.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for other
channels you want to unlock.
To unlock all channels at once:
Press yzx • to highlight
CLEAR ALL in step 3 above,
and then press x or •. All
channel numbers will be
replaced with "0" in the list.

Locking the video inputs

You can use the VIDEO LOCK feature to lock out the input sources
(Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, ColorStream) and channels 3 and 4.
You cannot select the input sources until the setting is cleared.
To set up the video lock:
1. From the LOCKS menu, select VIDEO LOCK.
2. Press x or • to highlight a video lock level, as follows:
VIDEO: Locks Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, and ColorStream.
VIDEO+: Locks Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, ColorStream,
and channels 3 and 4. Use this option if you connect your
VCR through ANT2.
Note: Make sure the PIP window is not
tuned to channel 3 or 4.
OFF: Unlocks all video input sources.

Locking the front panel buttons

The front panel buttons can be locked to prevent the TV settings
from being changed accidentally (by children, for example). When the
front panel lock is ON, all control buttons on the TV front panel
(except POWER) do not operate.
To lock the front panel buttons:
1. From the LOCKS menu, select
FRONT PANEL LOCK.
2. Press x or • to highlight ON.
To unlock the front panel buttons:
Highlight OFF in step 2 above.

Changing the PIN code

1. From the LOCKS menu, select NEW PIN CODE.
2. Press the Number buttons (0–9) to enter a 4-digit code.
The numbers you enter will replace the dashes in the display.
3. Press ENTER. The new PIN code is now active.
