  • Page 4 While this technically works well for climbing and reduces sink, it is NOT advisable for reflex paragliders such as the Recon. When the brakes are applied and held down, the reflex profile on the trailing edge is negated (removed) and could cause a loss of pressure or trimming of the air foil, thus resulting in an instant collapse of the glider.
  • Page 5 Rooms or garages, where Petrol, solvents, or other chemically aggressive substances are stored is unsuitable. If you will not be flying your Velocity paraglider for a few weeks, we recommend you open the stuff sack and slightly unroll the glider to release the tension.
