F5. Insert and solder the 39 capacitors in the locations
indicated by the layout legend. The tantalum capacitors
have polarity, so care must be taken to insert the positive
lead in the hole marked with a plus sign. The
"+"
lead of
tantalum capacitors is marked with a
"+"
sign. Some
capacitors are marked with a 3-digit code consisting of two
significant digits followed by a power of ten expressed in
picofarads. Thus, 223 means 22000pf or .022uf and 331 means
330pf. These alternate capacitor markings are given below
in parentheses after the capacitor value.

F6. Insert and solder the six lN4148 diodes at the locations
indicated by the layout legend. The end of the diode marked
with a band is the cathode end and must be oriented as
indicated by the layout legend.
