Connecting cable to the connector

1. Unscrew ring 1 and ring 2. Carefully remove the sealing elements located behind ring 1. Remember
the orientation and sequence of the sealing elements.
2. Check the cable. It must be disconnected from the data lines and -be off power line. Connecting the
connector to a live cable is dangerous to your health. A short circuit may cause a fire or damage the
equipment of your boat.
3. Thread the cable through ring 1, the sealing elements, and the connector case. Pay attention to the
correct installation of the sealing elements and ring 1 (they must be put on the cable in the reverse
order).
4. Strip the cable and using the screwdriver that comes with the connector, connect the cable to the
connector terminals according to the diagram below. For additional protection of the cable and
connector against corrosion, we recommend to treatthe cable and connector terminals with anti-
corrosion for electrical connections.
5. Gently push the cable through the connector case and tighten the ring 2. Make sure that the cable
does not come out of the connector terminals.
6. Screw on the ring 1. The sealing elements behind the ring 1 should tighten the cable tightly to
prevent moisture from entering the connector housing. Do not overtighten ring 1 and ring 2, but make
sure they are tightened securely.
Important: Damage of the connector, cable, or improper installation of the sealing elements can
lead to communication interruptions, short circuits, or equipment malfunctions over time. In the
case of absence of experience in installing electrical equipment, we recommend to contact a
qualified professional.
