Switching on the Appliance  Allow the appliance to stand upright for a minimum of 4 hours before you switch it  Plug in the appliance and switch on at the mains supply.  Set the thermostat control panel to the required setting as detailed in the Temperature Control section (3.2.).
  • Page 8 3.2.1. Freezer Temperature Settings To set the Freezer Compartment temperature, press button (A) once, the temperature display (B) will flash. Now press button (A) repeatedly until the desired temperature is displayed (the temperature setting changes -1° at a time). The temperature range is between -16°C to -24°C. (The recommended temperature for a 4 star freezer is -18°C).

Fridge Compartment ‘Shut Down’ Facility If you want to ‘Shut Down’ the Fridge compartment operation, you can do this by pressing the Fridge Compartment Temperature Adjustment button (E) for approximately 3 seconds until the Shut Down symbol (D) is highlighted and an audible signal is heard.
  • Page 10 When the water has frozen, turn the controls (shown left) to empty the ice-cubes into the ice-cube holder (located directly underneath the ice- maker). If any of the ice-cubes stick in the tray(s), give the tray(s) a gentle ‘tap’ to help dislodge them.
  • Page 11 Section 4. Maintenance Before any maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply. 4.1. Internal Cleaning Clean the interior and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products, wax polishes or cleaning products containing bleach or alcohol.
