Removal
1. Turn the etched part of the T -connector stem
counterclockwise.
2. Remove the T-connector from the back of the
VAXmate workstation. Do not disassemble the T-
connector. Doing so causes the network to
malfunction.

General Rules
• Never remove a ThinWire cable from a T-
connector unless your system administrator
tells you to do so.
• Never remove a terminator from aT-connector
unless your system administrator tells you to do
so.
• Never remove the T-connector from the
V AXmate workstation until you tell your system
administrator you are going to do so.
• Never remove a ThinWire cable from a barrel
connector unless your system administrator
tells you to do so.
