3) Rest the installation template on the front of the door, on top of the
existing 2 1/8" hole, making sure that it is aligned properly for the
door's existing 2 3/8" or 2 ¾" backset.
4) Mark the two, 3/8" holes that you cut out of the installation
template on the door (with a magic marker).
