Overview

Wicher 508i card has been designed for the Amiga 500/500+ line of computers. It should be installed in the original CPU

socket that is located on the Amiga's motherboard.

Wicher 508i provides 11 MB of additional SDRAM FAST RAM memory, IDE controller and the I2C controller. In order to

properly support the IDE controller, Kickstart 2.05 (37.350) or newer is required. Recommended Kickstart version is 3.1 or

newer.

The complete package contains:



Wicher 508i expansion card in the protective antistatic bag (the CPU is not included),



Connection cables (2 pcs.)

Preparing Your Amiga

Any action regarding your Amiga's case disassembly should be performed with the computer being powered down.

Before installing Wicher 508i card one should remove Amiga 500/500+ case. Next the U1 chip (MC68000) should be

located and removed from its socket. The operation should be performed very carefully, using adequate tooling.
