Switching on the appliance
n Once it is connected, the appliance is
switched on and the green indicator

The factory recommends a medium

temperature setting.
Setting the temperature
To change the temperature, turn the
temperature selector, figure "/1.
Position 1: Highest temperature
Position 8: Lowest temperature
Important: Changes to the temperature
take time to come into effect.
Notes on using the appliance
n After switching on the appliance, it
may be several hours before the set
temperature is reached.
n If you cannot open the lid immediately
after closing the chest, please wait for
two to three minutes until the resulting
vacuum has been compensated for.

Using the entire freezing
capacity
To store the maximum quantity of frozen
foods, you can remove the basket from
the appliance.

Freezer compartment

Use the freezer compartment for the
following:
n Storing deep frozen food.
To make ice cubes.

n To freeze food.
Note!
Ensure that the appliance is always
closed. If the lid is open, the frozen food
will thaw. The freezer compartment ices
up heavily. In addition: Energy is lost due
to the power consumption.
