these axles turn automatically, following the tractor accordingly. It considerably reduces outside forces acting
the wheels and hubs, reduce the wear of the tyre, and improves the manoeuvrability of the semi-trailer. The
shock absorber of the axle alignment mechanism suppresses vibration and stabilises the chassis.
When using a tractor semi-trailer with a two-axle chassis of which one axle is steering and three-axle
chassis of which one or two axles are steering, when moving forward, the handle of the distributor controlling
the hydraulic cylinder locking the front and rear axle wheels should be set to the floating position. When
reversing, discharging a load or parking, it is necessary to lock the front and rear axle wheels of the chassis
using the hydraulic cylinder.
ATTENTION!
If the chassis of the semitrailer or trailer has steering axle(s), those must be locked when
reversing! Also it must be locked when driving above 40 km/h speed!
The body is tight, has a lifting tailgate with a discharge port controlled from the tractor through the
hydraulic system. Special lintels reinforce the upper part of the body and serve as a guide for the rolling-up
canopy.
PTL-V line of semitrailers instead of steel body has glass fiber or steel tank. Depending on capacity of a
tank, every tank has baffles inside for reducing liquid movement. Glass fiber tank is resistant to major type of
chemicals, fertilizers.
The semi-trailer can be equipped with a mechanical or hydraulic variable-height support foot. The
variable-height support foot is necessary when the semi-trailer is not in use (detached from the tractor).
Mechanical variable-height support foot. By turning the handle to one or another side, the length of the
device changes, while changing the position of the drawbar towing loop in the vertical direction. When the
semi-trailer is attached to the tractor, the supporting device is reinstalled into the horizontal position and fixed
with a pin.
