This roof basket is designed to attach to a wide variety of roof rack bars. Before using the basket, ensure that the universal brackets are securely attached to the vehicle cross bars.
Periodically check to ensure all knobs and screws are tight. Remove the basket when not in use.
DO NOT EXCEED YOUR VEHICLE'S LOAD BARS/CROSS BARS WEIGHT RATING
Fitting: Crossbars up to 4" width x 1.57" maximum height, 0.59 minimum height, or round bars up to 1.5" diameter. U-Bolt spacing: 6.4" x 1.57"
1. Never exceed the maximum cargo load capacity of 150 lbs.
2. There must be a minimum distance of 15 inches between vehicle's cross bars.
3. When loading, distribute weight evenly along basket platform to prevent an out of balance situation.
4. Never carry a load that is not properly secured and tied down to the cargo basket. Improperly secured items may fall onto the roadway and cause an accident.
5. Do not carry flammable items on cargo rack.
6. Never allow people to sit in or be transported in the cargo basket
Improperly installed rack, or cargo can fall onto roadway potentially causing a serious accident resulting in bodily injury.
Do not use cargo roof basket on any vehicle where the cargo basket cannot be properly and safely installed.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Remove the 8 large protective plastic end caps on the right and left sides of the front and rear basket, DO NOT remove the 4 small plastic caps circled in the illustration below. Slide the Front Basket into the Rear Basket. Attach the two Side Plates to both sides where the Front Basket and Rear Basket are connected (See #1).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Note - Position basket on the roof of car. Make sure the fairing with the “Retrospec” logo is pointed towards the front of the vehicle. Snap the Bracket Saddle, onto the bottom of the Basket. The Bracket Saddle will sit on the Cross Bars of the vehicle. Secure the Bracket Saddle with the Bracket Top Plate and U-Bolt (See #1).
