Lubricating the Driveshaft

For Machines with the Pro Force Debris Blower Mounting Kit (30493)
Installed
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Note:
This procedure only applies to machines that have the Mounting Kit (Part No. 30493) installed.
The mounting kit drive shaft has bearings and bushings that you must lubricate regularly. If the machine is
operated under normal conditions, lubricate bearings with No. 2 lithium grease. Lubricate fittings immediately
after every washing, regardless of the interval listed.
1.
Position the machine and blower on a level surface and lower the blower.
2.
There are 11 outer grease points; refer to the mount kit service decal or
1. Grease the outside of each cross bearing of the machine-side driveshaft section.
2. Grease each yoke of the machine-side driveshaft section.
3. Grease the outer shaft of the machine-side driveshaft section.
4. Grease each flange bearing between the 2 main shaft sections.
5. Grease each guard bushing at either end of the blower driveshaft guards.
Remove the guard from the blower driveshaft to access the remaining grease fittings
1. Grease the cross bearing fitting here (flange bearing side).
2. Grease the outer shaft of the blower driveshaft here.
