 The day display flashes and you can now turn the TIMER control [5] to set the day of the date. Press
the
button [7] briefly to apply the setting.
 The
symbol [32] flashes on the display and you can use the TIMER control [5] to enable or disable
this function. To do this, select "ON" or "OFF and confirm by pressing the

9. Troubleshooting

The kitchen radio does not work.
 Make sure the mains plug is properly inserted into a mains socket.
The display [1] remains dark.
 Check whether the display [1] has dimmed automatically to the lowest level. Press any button to do
this.
 Check whether the display [1] has been dimmed manually to the lowest level. Press the DIMMER
button [11] to toggle between the display brightness levels (dim, medium, bright).
 You can check the display as follows: In standby mode, press and hold the
approx. 2 seconds. All display items light up for about 5 seconds.
Poor radio reception
 Unwind the wire antenna [18] fully and/or move it to a different position.
 Start a new station search.
Device switched on but no sound
 Check the volume setting.
 Check whether the correct operating mode (Radio / AUX) has been selected.
 In AUX mode, check the volume setting on your playback device.
 In AUX mode, check if the audio cable [B] is properly connected to the AUX connector [2] of the
kitchen radio and to the audio output of your playback device.
Date and time do not synchronise automatically.
 The RDS signal is too weak. Set the date and time manually.
