RAM-2200-8 Eight-Zone LED Expander for FX-2200
Fire Alarm Control Panel
The RAM-2200-8 provides up to 24 Zone LEDs (8 alarm LEDs, 8 supervisory LEDs,
and 8 trouble LEDs per module) for the FX-2200.

NOTE: This component must be included in the control panel battery
calculation. Refer to the Battery Calculation Sheet in the FX-2200 Installation
Manual (LT-2000MIR) included with the control panel.
Installing the RAM-2200-8 Module
Before mounting the RAM-2200-8, fill out the Zone Label and insert it behind the
overlay.
1. Remove the right most black plate as viewed with dead front open.
2. Mount the RAM-2200-8 assembly to the dead front using the 4 nuts/lock washers.
3. If this is the first LED Expander: Connect the enclosed ribbon cable from "Output"
on the display board to "CON1 IN" on the RAM-2200-8 module.
If there is already at least one LED Expander present: connect one end of the
enclosed ribbon cable to "CON2 OUT" on the LED Expander to the right of the
new one. Connect the other end of the ribbon cable to the newly installed RAM-
2200-8 at "CON2 IN".
