1 Operating Elements and Connections

1 Plug for connection of the lighting strip
The arrow of the plug must point to the lettering
"+V"
2 Adapter plug
3 Infrared sensor for the remote control signals
4 Button ON for switching on
5 Buttons MODE for selection of a control pro-
gramme
6 Button AUTO: the control programmes are run
through successively
7 Buttons SPEED for the speed (9 levels)
8 Button OFF for switching off
9 Buttons BRIGHT for the brightness (9 levels) for
the programmes change of colour, flashing and
constant colour
10 Buttons for direct selection of the 29 control pro-
grammes (see chapter 5.2)
11 Button PAUSE to interrupt / continue the pro-
gramme run
12 Button RESET to reset the control to the initial
state (keep button pressed longer)
13 Controller for the lighting strip
14 Low-voltage plug of the power supply unit for
connection to the controller

2 Safety Notes

The components of the LEDS-1SET/ RGB (con-
troller, remote control, power supply unit and LED
lighting strip) correspond to all required directives
of the EU (marking

only. Inexpert handling or modifica-
tion of the unit may cause an electric
shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:

The LEDS-1SET/ RGB is suitable for indoor use
only. Protect it against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Do not set the controller into operation and
immediately disconnect the power supply unit
from the socket if
1. there is visible damage to the power supply
unit, controller or lighting strip,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The LEDS-1SET/ RGB must in any case be
repaired by skilled personnel.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the LEDS-1SET/RGB
and no liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the LEDS-
1SET/ RGB is used for other purposes than orig-
inally intended, if it is not correctly connected or
operated, or not repaired in an expert way.
If the LEDS-1SET/ RGB is to be put out of
operation definitively, take it to a local recy-
cling plant for a disposal which is not harm-
ful to the environment.
3 Applications
The LED strip serves for decorative lighting. The
remote control allows to select various control pro-
grammes for flashing, change of colour, gradual
colour transition and for lighting in one colour.

4 Mounting and Connection

1) Fix the LED lighting strip at a desired place by
means of the self-adhesive foil on the rear side
or the supplied supports.
2) Connect the plug (1) of the controller (13) via the
adapter plug (2) to the connection rail at one
end of the LED strip. The arrow of the plug must
point to the lettering "+V" of the LED strip (see
fig. page 3). Otherwise the LEDs do not light up.
3) The controller can be fixed at a suitable place
with two screws or with double-sided adhesive
tape.
4) Fix the infrared sensor (3) with adhesive tape so
that it is capable of receiving the control signals
from the remote control without obstacles.
5) Connect the supplied power supply unit via the
low-voltage plug (14) to the controller and to a
socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz). The LEDs light up ac -
cording to the last control programme selected.
