A7-180 and D7-180 Camera
Outdoor Housing
Installation Instructions
The Outdoor Housing allows the A7-180 or D7-180 Cameras to be
installed against a wall, pole, or any secure stable surface. The
camera is securely enclosed and protected from the elements. The
vertical and horizontal angles can be adjusted with the brackets lo-
cated on the back. In this enclosure the operating temperature of
the cameras is -40º C to 60ºC.

Installing the Camera

A. Remove the Outdoor Housing front cover.
B. Attach Outdoor Housing with mounting brackets to mounting surface. Use ap-
propriate fasteners (not included).
C. Attach Silica Packs (2) to double-faced adhesive pads and stick to inside top
and bottom of Housing Body.
D. Feed your camera connection cables through the cable opening at the back of
the Outdoor Housing and attach to your camera. (See the Getting Started guide
for the appropriate connection configuration.)
E. Attach the Camera to the extensions posts on inside of the Front cover using the
provided screws.
F. To securely refasten the Outdoor Housing front cover to the Housing body, insert
the washer onto the tamper-resistant screw with the metal side against the
screw head. Insert the screws and tighten until the inner gasket is compressed
to assure a watertight seal. The rubber side should contact the housing face.
G. Tighten the cable opening nut. Do not overtighten
H. Adjust the horizontal and vertical angle as needed using the mounting brackets
on the housing back.
