Function description

3.1

Connection to panel MB-Secure

The IB2 BUS interface of the IB2 BUS expander is connected to one of the 4 controller connections of
the control panel MB-Secure. The interface of the control panel must be configured as an RS-485/IB2
interface.
3.2

Bus interfaces

The 4 Bus outputs can be configured individually via the control panel programming as BUS-2 or
RS-485-interface (RS-485 in the course of preparation). Up to 64 users can be operated per
interface.
3.3

Analogue inputs

The module has 4 analogue inputs with a stabilised voltage of 8 V DC.
2 different operating modes are possible for every input:
1. Operation as detector group
-
End-of-line resistor:
-
Monitoring range:
Input 1 can also be cleared and is thus suitable e.g. for passive glass breakage sensors. A
combination of contacts and glass breakage sensors is possible at this input.
2. Monitoring form "Double balanced"
For this evaluation, the following resistance values and ranges are defined:

The values are fixed and can not be changed.
