CAUTION Possibility of service interruption. High insertion loss and back reflections may occur if APC-type cable is inserted into SC-type connector on 1677 SONET Link. The 1677 SONET Link uses an SC/UPC pigtailed laser and an SC/UPC pigtailed receiver. UPC is a type of domed polish that reduces back reflections to -55 db.
