Two gear selector (fig. A)
Your tool is fitted with a two gear selector (5) to vary
the speed/torque ratio.
1 low speed/high torque
2 high speed/low torque
For speed rates, refer to the technical data.
Always push the two gear selector
completely forward or completely back.
Do not change gears at full speed or during use.
Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the tool.
Excessive force does not speed up
screwdriving but decreases tool
performance and may shorten tool life.
• Follow the recommendations for the
appropriate driving speeds provided by
the manufacturers of self-drilling screws.
Prior to operation:
• Make sure your battery pack is (fully) charged.
• Insert the appropriate drive accessory.
• Select forward or reverse rotation.
• Set the appropriate driving depth.
Switching ON and OFF (fig. A)
• To run the tool, press the variable speed switch (1).
The pressure exerted on the variable speed
switch determines the tool speed.
• To stop the tool, release the variable speed
switch (1).
• To lock the tool in OFF-position, move the
forward/reverse slider (2) to the central position.
Screwdriving
• For best results, hold the screwdriver with the
hand directly in line with the fastener and press
the variable speed switch with the last one or two
fingers of the hand. This reduces the chance of
the screw slipping from the drive accessory when
pressure is applied.

• To drive the fastener, place it on the bit or into
the socket or nutsetter, press the variable speed
switch and push the fastener into the workpiece
with a smooth, continuous motion.
When the fastener is seated, the clutch will
disengage automatically.
Various types of 1/4" hex. bits, holders, sockets and
adaptors are available as an option.
Consult your dealer for further information on the
appropriate accessories.
