    In its simpliest form, the PS120 is a mul -format presenta on switcher that allows up to 3 HDMI, 1 VGA, and 1 USB Type C (USB-C) devices to all share a single HDMI display. Audio and video content from connected VGA and USB devices will be converted to HDMI so the display will only have one connec on to the switcher.

    The PS120 also supports indirect connec ons. The input device may be connected to a connec vity box such as Extron® Cable Cubby™ or Al nex® Tilt ‘N Plug™ fi rst before being connected to the PS120. O en, the PS120 itself will be connected under the table and hidden from view.

    Image Resolu ons Image Resolu ons The PS120 supports resolu ons up to UHDTV (3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz [4:2:2] or 60Hz [4:2:0]), all HDTV resolu ons, and VESA monitor resolu ons up to 1920 x 1200. The key determining factor is the clock rate.

    Internal Settings Internal Settings In most cases, the default se ngs of the PS120 are suffi cient for most applica ons. However, there are mes when changes are needed.     Selecting a New Source Device to Display To display a new source, press the Source Selector bu on on the Front of the PS120 repeatedly un l the LED on the Ac ve Source Indicator corresponds to the desired Source Port Selec on.

    The PS120 is limited to 30W of power which may limit the ability from some larger laptops to accept power from the PS120.

    IR remote supplied with the PS120. Second, volume can be adjusted using the free so ware called “Switcher Se ngs” available on the product web page for the PS120. Third, it can be adjusted via the Help Desk so ware called “Cloud Control”. And, fi nally, it can be ad- justed manually using USB (USB-CDC), RS232, and Ethernet terminal emula on menu se ngs.

    PS’ Switcher Se ngs is a Windows applica on which allows users and integrators to change the behavior of PS’ presenta on switchers in real me. Connect a Windows-based PC to the PS120 using a USB Type A to USB Micro-B cable. Windows Mode View (default)

    Non-Use Timeout Non-Use Timeout When users disconnect their laptops and computers from the presenta on, the PS120 will wait this many seconds before the switcher automa cally shuts down the display. This feature is only applicable when CEC and Display Control is enabled.

    The “Factory Def” or factory defaults bu on restores all factory detault se ngs that were used when the PS120 was fi rst sent to the customer then performs a so ware reset. However, this func on does not reset the LAN Se ngs.
