    The DT7 is intended for DX/TX user to create more programming possibilities and give the user the feeling of an analogue synth. It is recommended to disconnect the DT7 from your synth when playing your synth over midi. The DX7 is an old instrument from the beginning of midi.

    The DX7 is an old instrument from the beginning of midi. It sometimes can’t handle large amounts of midi data. The DT7 has a DATA SPEED knob, turn it to the right to slow down midi messages from the DT7.

    This can happen especially when used with a fast sequencer tempo and/or very short notes or turning some knobs fast on the DT7. In this case, simply turn of both devices and turn them on again. Adjust the DATA SPEED knob as described earlier.
