PROBLEM
An error beep is
heard during a
call.

Maintenance

Before cleaning the handset or the charging unit, unplug the power cable.
Notes:
Do not use detergents or other chemical cleaning agents. To clean the charging
contacts of the handset and the charging unit, use a dry, non-fluffy cloth.
CAUSE
Base station not ready.
The handset you are
calling is already on a
call or out of range of
the base station.
The handset batteries are
low (the call may be
interrupted).
Maintenance and troubleshooting
SOLUTION
Retry when the other handset has
left the menu.
Wait until the handset is available
and retry.
Charge batteries (see "Charging
and discharging batteries", page
10).
