Installing the Attachment
Parts needed for this procedure:
Attachment (ordered separately; refer to your

Procedure
Install the front attachment (e.g., cutting unit, plow
blade, or blower); perform the following steps and
refer to your attachment Operator's Manual for
additional installation instructions.
1.
Have an assistant sit in the seat, turn the key
to the O
position, and use the attachment lift
N
switch to lower the lift arms while you push down
on the lift arms.
2.
Align the lift-arm holes with the attachment-arm
holes per the attachment Installation Instructions.
3.
When you install the PTO shaft to the gearbox,
assemble each pair of bolts (5/16 x 2 inches)
and nuts (5/16 inch) opposite each other
15) and torque the nuts to 40 N∙m (30 ft-lb).
