This manual has been developed for all CS THERMOS srl models of biomass stoves. ENGLISH 2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION These stove models can be equipped with a traditional pellet burner, to burn only high quality wood pellets that are in compliance with DIN PLUS / ö-Norm M7135 standards and their updates, or with our innovative and patented biomass burner, capable of burning not only wood pellets of any quality (for example made of bark and branches) but also biomass which derives from the waste of agricultural processing like corn, grape seeds pellet, almond/hazelnut/pine nut husks, olive pits, pelletized wine pruning, etc..

ENGLISH 6. GENERAL RULES FOR CREATING THE FLUE A few simple, yet important, rules to follow for safe constructing a flue are here explained (for further information, please read the UNI 10683 regulation). Safe and correct pellet stove operations depends on the connection to a single and independent flue. No other fireplace, stove, boiler, aspiring hoods, etc., are to be connected to the same flue (see fig.3).
ENGLISH 7. ELIMINATING FUMES DISCHARGE Fumes discharge must comply with regulations in force and must therefore be brought above the roof. The discharge tube must be made out of smooth steel and not the corrugated flexible type with silicone gaskets. Furthermore it must be positioned externally and not in closed or semi-closed spaces.

During the first start-up, verify that the level of combustible load inside the burner is correct. For the Tesi model: ensure that the stove is anchored to the rear panel by means of a chain or clamp to be passed via its specific holes.

ENGLISH 15. ALARM CODES For your own safety do not tamper or modify any of the machine's components: the manufacturer does not guarantee the normal operation, that as a result may be very dangerous. In case of malfunctioning, difficulties, or whenever a safety device is activated, it is important to contact authorised personnel.
ENGLISH 16. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE To ensure correct functioning and maximum efficiency of the stove, carry out the following cleaning and maintenance operations. ENGLISH HEARTH DOOR GLASS The hearth glass used is resistant to high temperatures. Should it be damaged (ex chipped) it is recommended to have it replaced immediately by an authorised technician before using the machine again. To clean, use a non abrasive cloth with a glass cleaning liquid.
In the model TESI it is possible to direct and channel the hot air in different directions with the help of some accessories. After removing the top cover (Fig. A), loosen the fans’ screws and rotate them (Fig B) to the desired position.

ENGLISH 18. HOT AIR CHANNEL (BIOLADY-BIOSTILE MODEL) The following operations must be performed by an authorised technician with the stove turned off and disconnected from the power supply. The BIOLADY and BIOSTILE models equipped with the channelling kit have a specific heating fan installed in the lower rear part of the stove, controlled by a circuit board and a remote panel that is to be installed in the room that is to be heated, from which the desired temperature is set together with the fan speed (read the relative instructions for further information).
