PRECAUTIONS FOR THE CALF MILK AND FEED HEATER
1.
The heater may only be operated with the stipulated voltage on the type label.
2.
Do not open or repair the heater yourself.
3.
The maximum immersion depth of the heater is marked on the heater tube. Never ever
immerse the heater beyond the maximum immersion depth.
4.
If the thermostat fails, the built-in safety temperature limiter switches the heater off. (Only for
E 3000 T) Get the heater checked immediately for any faults and get it repaired only through
an authorized specialist.
GENERAL HINTS AND MEASURES
1.
Use the heater only for the purpose described within the instructions.
2.
Never ever touch the liquid, whilst the heater is still connected to the power supply and
whilst it is still immersed in the liquid.
3.
Heating liquids is only permitted when children are kept away from heating place.
4.
Never ever work with a damaged heater. Get the heater checked immediately for any faults
and get it repaired only through a licensed specialist.
5.
Never ever heat close to explosive materials, objects or gases.
PRODUCT SPECIFIC REGULATIONS
1.
Application
The heater is exclusively designed for heating milk, oil, fat, wine, fruit juice, must, honey and
feed in connection with liquids.
2.
Use
The safety regulations have to be respected by all means. When working with electrical
devices a safety plug should be used at any time. Before starting-up the heater it is
imperative to carefully read the instructions. The correct setting of the temperature is
described in detail within the instructions.
3.
Maintenance
Check all fixing screws of the heater regularly for firm fit/positioning. Loosened screws and
nuts have to be screwed tightly right away. Neglecting this point may lead to significant
danger. The heater should be cleaned after every use. Cleaning the outside of the plastic
top should only be carried out with a soft cloth or soap sud humid cloth unless it is free from
benzine or dissolvent which may affect or damage the plastic housing. The heating element
of the heater may only be cleaned with lukewarm soap sud and a hand brush.
