INTENDED USE

The torch is designed for use with universal handles U4, U5, U6 or U7.
Tighten the connecting nut by OK 27 wrench. Tighten the heating tips by OK 22 wrench, and
cutting tips by OK 10 wrench.
Connect cutting torch guide roller to the torch head by means of a sleeve.
EN
When cutting circular openings, connect the circular cutting attachment to the guide roller,
and release the guide roller sleeve.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To increase the safety of work, it is recommended to use hose return valves (like BV 12)
connected at the handle inlet, and dry back-pressure valves (FR 36, etc.) located at the
pressure-reducing valve outlet.
Use only the tips that correspond to the type of torch and flammable gas used.
Keep the cutting torch clean; the oxygen equipment must not be contaminated with oil,
grease or fat.
Keep fire prevention instructions and measures strictly.
Keep safe distance from flammable substances.
Ensure sufficient ventilation on work in closed rooms.
Use personal protective aids on work.
3.

OPERATION

3.1.BEGINNING THE WORK WITH THE TORCH
Prior to beginning the work, test the suction function of the injector. With disconnected
flammable gas hose, connected oxygen supply and fully opened valves, suction must be
evident on oxygen flow at the flammable gas adapter opening.
Select and install corresponding cutting and heating tips (see the table). Close the handle
valves and cutting oxygen valve on the torch, and set required gas pressure by means of
pressure-reducing valves.
Clean the hoses by short opening the valves on the handle with opened cutting oxygen
valve (with pressed lever and opened heating oxygen valve in case of lever variant).
During hose blowing through, check and/or adjust the pressures of oxygen and flammable
gas. Then close the valves.
Fully open the oxygen valve, then open the flammable gas valve, and ignite the flame.
Adjust neutral heating flame by means of the flammable gas valve with opened cutting
oxygen valve.
Heating Oxygen Auxiliary Valve Function (lever variant)
After start of cutting it is possible to decrease the heating intensity thanks to the heat arising
due to fast burning of iron. It can be achieved by throttling the supply of heating oxygen
by auxiliary valve on the torch without decreasing the cutting oxygen supply and speed of
cutting.
3.2. EXTINGUISHING THE FLAME / END OF OPERATION
After the cutting is finished, first close the flammable gas valve on the handle, and only
after it the oxygen valve.
When the flame extinguishes, close carefully the closing valves on the oxygen and flam-
mable gas cylinders.
Close gradually the valves of both gases on both the handle and torch, and let the gases
escape from the hoses.
