TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Ascender operates at very low speed
PROBABLE CAUSE
The battery is to cold.
The ascender or the batterie is to
warm.
The ascender is over loaded.
The grab on the rope is poor, the rope slips
PROBABLE CAUSE
Rope connected incorrectly.
The rope is not suitable
for the ascender.
The rope grab is worn.
The remote control cannot operate the winch when LED is green
PROBABLE CAUSE
The distance to the winch is too far.
There are objects disturbing
the signal.
The ascender is not powered up.
The ascender is broken/damaged.
Wrong remote control is used.
The LED on the remote flashes red
PROBABLE CAUSE
The battery is running low.
The remote is corrupt.
The ascender is very hot and there is no response to the speed handle
PROBABLE CAUSE
The ascender is over heated.

REMEDY
Warm the battery. See technical data for temperature range.
Let the ascender or the batterie cool down.
Lighten the load.
REMEDY
Reconnect the rope.
Change the rope.
The ascender is in need of repair and service,
contact ActSafe or an approved distributor.
REMEDY
Move closer to the ascender or replace the battery of the remote.
Move closer to the ascender to get a stronger signal.
Turn the ascender on.
Check the trouble shoot guide regarding the ascender.
Change to correct remote control.
REMEDY
Replace the batteries of the remote control.
Consult ActSafe or an approved distributor.
REMEDY
Wait for the ascender to cool down.
