The ascender do not start or switches off when newly recharged
PROBABLE CAUSE
The battery is to cold.
The charger fuse is burned.
The charger is broken/damaged.
The battery is flat.
The emergency stop is activated
1) Measure the voltage (on pins I
and H as shown in the picture) of the
battery with a common voltmeter.
It shall be 37,2 V when the battery is
fully charged.
Be careful not to short curcuit any pins while
measuring the voltage on the battery and
the charger.

CAUTION
REMEDY
Warm the battery. See technical data for temperature range.
Check the fuse and replace if needed. See instruction 2.
Repair/replace the charger, contact ActSafe
or an approved distributor. See instruction 2.
The ascender is in need of repair and service,
contact ActSafe or an approved distributor. See instruction 1.
Deactivate the emergency button.
2) Measure the voltage (on pins A and I
as shown in the picture) of the charger
at the battery connector with a common
voltmeter, when the charger is connected
to the wall socket. It shall be 39,6 V if the
charger is ok.
